I closed the office last week and now I feel better than ever
And by 'closed' I mean I took myself away for a couple of days to pull everything apart and put it back together again. Like a Spring clean of the business.
This is how it went down:
👉 I booked myself into a lovely meeting room for a couple of days.
👉 I took to the whiteboard like a maniac trying to solve a murder or plot a bank robbery.
👉 I started by evaluating every single part of Wild Coworking and I was honest, like *properly* honest and didn't shy away from the tough questions. It's easier to do that when you're in a room without any distractions.
👉 Then I zoomed in on the bits I felt stuck on
👉 I used my creativity and marketing background to play around with ideas
👉 I turned all of that into a strategy
👉 Out of the strategy I created a 6 month timeline
The result = feeling a lot calmer, in control and knowing the difference between a shiny distraction and an opportunity.
This is my jam, it's one of my favourite things to do for myself and others.
What I want to know is if you've ever done this for your business? Does the thought of it fill you with dread or glee?
Thanks to my coach Imani Clough-Brown BA (Hons), MA (FRSA) for helping me see this is exactly what I needed! Imani also helped me realise I need to create space to allow opportunities and *life* to happen around the planning.
Feels so good.
If you’d like to do this for your business but could do with someone guiding you through the process, I’ve launched new half and whole day sessions that you can now book.
