This September, we’re teaming up with Celie Nigoumi. A talented photographer known for capturing bold creatives, founders, and changemakers. Celie created her photowalks as a result of finding great peace in the outdoors, and we’re so excited to be co-hosting a photowalk with her this month.
Join us for a Mindful Photowalk to experience 2 hours of mindful image-making and offline connection.
This Photowalk is an opportunity for Photography Enthusiasts to:
Practice being at peace with nature.
Slow down and notice the gorgeous colours, textures and shapes that make a great photo.
Fill your creative cup by exploring a passion - new or old
Celie tells us what to expect...
We’ll meet at Ashton Court Golf Course car park not the main mansion car park!! and get to know each other.
I’ll help you get into a relaxed and inspired headspace through a short grounding exercise
As we walk, I’ll share what I look out for when taking photos, making examples and talking through my thoughts and technical processes.
You’ll have the opportunity to ask me any specific questions as we go
Finally we'll stop at the cafe to chat about our newfound perspectives over a cup of tea, and share the images we made (if we'd like to!)
All proceeds from this event will go towards Aidbox, Bristol.
Why Aidbox?
Aidbox is a local charity that provides support, supplies, and sanctuary for refugees and people seeking asylum in Bristol. Both Celie and Jess (Wild Founder) are values-driven business owners who include micro human rights activism in their work every day. And as they witness ongoing genocides across the world such as in Sudan and Gaza they felt like they wanted to help affect real change in the South West and focus a grass roots charity that supports people fleeing war.
