Top Tips for Christmas Stress

Wild member and Founder of The She Collective, Ro, has shared her top Christmas coping strategies with us.

Don’t get me wrong I LOVE Christmas. The parties, the food… it’s magical. It’s also a bucket load of extras to fit into our already busy lives, so it’s no wonder we can feel overwhelmed at this time of year.

So… with that in mind, here are some little stress tips to help this festive season…

⭐️ This Works Pillow Spray for a good nights sleep, genuinely - I’ve tried them all!

⭐️ Watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or Selling Sunset is great for a bit of total and utter escapism 💅

⭐️ Make food easy! Gousto and Food Doctor are my absolute go-tos!

⭐️ Stock your fridge with immune boosting foods, they don’t have to be fancy - real orange juice, greek yogurt, plenty of fruit and veg, your body will thank you for it.

⭐️ Seriously, let’s all take the stress out of our lives… my 12 year old twins have NO recollection of the lengths I went to when they were toddlers and yet I still find my self doing the same shit I did 9 years ago for the “perfect” Christmas experience for my 3 year old 😱

⭐️ This isn’t the time for miracles, weight loss or big changes. But it is a time to consider YOU in the equation, because here’s the thing… how does it all look when you are too stressed/ill to function? My house has experienced this this week and it’s not pretty

At the end of the day, whilst it might be somewhere weirdly intrinsically drilled into us that we have to it ALL and be chilled, look fabulous and have it all together at the same time, frankly, it’s bullshit.

So, this December, push back. Take a bath, sit with your fingers in your ears and sing “fa la la la” but seriously, do what it takes to be you and be sane.

Let’s all be a little more Mariah in Christmas 2021!!
