How our Christmas Coworking days went down

I am SO pleased that we managed to get a couple of coworking days in before covid kicked off again, it was lovely to meet some of you for the first time and bring our members together too.

We started off with a day in Bristol on Wednesday 8th December. We set ourselves up for the day at Here, on Bath Road. Sandy Park Deli have their sister cafe there so we were well prepared for a day of connecting and working together in person, something many of us have sorely missed over the past couple of years.

After founding Wild in Frome, bringing it to Bristol has always been a dream of mine after I moved back here at the beginning of 2020. I had no idea what was to come but turning this dream into a reality felt so far away at the beginning of the pandemic! I am very grateful to have somehow managed it.

More Bristol dates will be added for 2022 soon, so keep an eye out for those.

Next up was our Christmas Coworking Extravaganza in Frome on Wednesday 15 December. It felt like Wild was coming home, and it did not disappoint. We were in a beautiful new venue - Rook Lane Chapel, which felt like the refresh we needed.

Seeing so many friendly faces was a treat, some of our Founding Members have been a part of Wild since 2019, so it felt great to raise a toast alongside them and our brand new members.

We enjoyed lunch from Keren’s Comfort Kitchen and a sumptuous relaxation session from member and hypnotherapist Emma Haines. It was the best way to bring us down, ready to lean into Christmas relaxation (or something that resembles that).

We will be returning to Rook Lane Chapel in the New Year, so be sure to join us when we announce the dates. Remember members get a huge discount on pop-up coworking days, so January is a great time to join.

Creating this hybrid of an online network with in-person pop-up coworking days has made all the difference to those of us who like to be flexible with the way we work. Knowing there are always people online who also like to get sh*t done during our virtual coworking sessions helps with our day to day, but having face to face events to look forward to means we get a double whammy of connection.

Hopefully see you at the next one.
