Winter Intentions

Written by Emma Brooks, The Rebrand Strategist and Wild member.

In this season of Winter, I’m not making any huge changes I’m just going with the flow of how I feel. I’m doing things aligned with nature and the season. I see Winter as the season I prepare and plan for the year ahead with each month having purposeful intentions.

I intend to nourish and nurture my wellbeing through each month of Winter with daily rituals for self-care from my go-to remedies that calibrate my purpose and bring balance to my soul;

  • essential oils

  • crystals

  • journaling

  • incense

  • oracle cards

  • meditation

  • luna rituals

  • astronomy

  • KAKAO ceremonies

  • bathing rituals

Balance

I have created a set of intentions across three key areas I need equilibrium in these are;

Life - home, family and friends

Garden - mental health and exercise

Business - productivity and necessity

January - Clarity

This is not a time to make big decisions, it’s a time of deep rest, conserving energy, seeking refuge from the cold and dark days. A time for deep reflection and growth, with the focus on surrendering what no longer serves you. Seeking clarity in the future, how you want to feel and what brings you joy.

Life: The house seems so bare after Christmas, a good clean and a shift of furniture to remove negative energy. Daily walks to increase my intake of natural daylight with cosy fireside chats with my other half talking about our aspirations for the year ahead with snuggles from the cats.

Garden: Select the seeds for the cut flowers I want to grow this year and begin researching how and what to grow in a kitchen garden.

Business: Enhance my genius! Seek clarity in my business growth for 2022. Identify what I need to learn, write and create. Surround myself with like-minded souls (😉 at Wild).

February - Ambition

There is a stirring of fresh energy and heightened intuition this month, give yourself permission to follow your gut instinct, release those limiting beliefs, there is nothing to hold you back. Focus only on the necessity for your ambition. What action do you need to take to succeed? Necessity isn’t a hope or a dream it’s getting stuff done!

Life: Declutter one room at a time, get rid of what no longer serves me. Connect with friends and family make plans for days out. Notice the simple things like frosty spiders webs and the crunch of frosty grass.

Garden: Clearing out the greenhouse, turning the compost, pruning the roses, sowing seeds.

Business: Planning my moves to achieve my goals, focusing on the main needle-moving tasks. Identify who I need to connect, collaborate or learn from (😉 at Wild-Co Working).

March - Momentum

New life is emerging, it’s time to stretch the boundaries. Prepare to show up in this world, walk the talk. You are about to launch into massive action. You are ready for Spring!

Life: Longer days as we approach Spring Equinox, I will be adapting my daily rituals to embrace the extra daylight. Fuel my energy, protect my mind stand guard to what goes in and shapes me, surround myself with people who will elevate me.

Garden: Germination is happening, I’m nurturing the newly formed shoots, delicate but strong they have so much potential and growth ahead of them.

Business: A time to build momentum, turn fear into courage step into my superpower and take massive action to inform and influence others with my story (😉 at Wild-Co Working).
