We went on a field trip!
We went to see the show SIX and we had the BEST day. Some of us travelled from the South West, some are already in London but as always, the distance between us doesn’t make a difference to our connection as a group.
It was the perfect escape from the weight of the world right now.
Something that’s been playing on my mind and coming up in conversation recently is the toxic work culture, and belief that work needs to be boring, stressful, ProFesSioNal (whatever that means). When actually, we have fun everyday on virtual coworking, we hang out at our in-person meet ups and discover the joy of working for ourselves. It’s hard, but when you find your people and realise you’re not alone, it’s easier to carry the load of being an entrepreneur.
This field trip filled up our social cups and we were full of love by the end of the day. It also made us feel like everything really is going to be ok.
